For premium users, our Services include access to Transmute Engine, which processes event data collected by the inPIPE plugin. Here’s how Transmute Engine handles your data:

  • First-Party Processing: Transmute Engine operates as a first-party server to your website, processing events server-side before passing them to your configured endpoints (outPIPEs).
  • Data Transit, Not Storage: Transmute Engine functions primarily as a data transit service. It does not permanently store your event data but rather processes and forwards it to your specified third-party services (such as Google Analytics, Facebook Ads, Klaviyo, etc.).
  • Temporary Retention: In case of a system-wide failure of a third-party service (e.g., Facebook Ads being temporarily unavailable), Transmute Engine may temporarily store event data for up to 48 hours to ensure successful delivery once the service resumes.
  • Limited Access and Monitoring: Our engineers and staff do not have access to the actual event data processed by Transmute Engine. We only receive basic aggregated metrics about input and output volumes to monitor system performance and ensure proper operation.
  • Your Credentials: To connect with your third-party services, you provide login and API information for these endpoints directly through your admin dashboard. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to connect these services and process data through them.
  • Data Ownership: All data processed through Transmute Engine remains your property and under your control as the data controller. Seresa.io acts solely as a data processor in this relationship.

5. Data Security

We have implemented appropriate technical and organizational measures to secure your information from accidental loss and unauthorized access, use, alteration, or disclosure. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure.
